Decided to run the Village Bakeries Half Marathon instead of heading out into the hills. It was a cold start to the day about -5c. By the start at 11:00 it had warmed up and was bright and sunny. Fast course, was 1 min slower than Alsager at 5 miles and went through 10k in a PB. Struggled last couple of miles with a pain in my left knee and lower back but still came home nearly 6 mins under my PB with a 1:34:17. Well chuffed.
